I am sure everyone wants to know the 10 best monsters in Yugioh are, that is why my latest blog will be listing them. It took me a lot of thinking and Youtube videos to come with the list. Here it is:

10. Exodia, The Forbbidden One

Exodia is a very strong monster, plus it is probably the most wanted monster in Yugioh. If you gather up all five pieces of Exodia in your hand, you win! However, the reason he is not #1 is because he has a catch to his effect. Like I said back in this post, gathering Exodia is extremely difficult to aquire and without all five pieces, it will be useless to have in your deck. Still, it is a very rare and powerful monster.

09.Black Luster Soldier, Envoy of the Beginning

Black Luster Soldier, E.E. I chose B.L.S.E.E. for ninth because he has one of the best effects in Yugioh. All it takes to summon him is the discarding of a light and dark monster. He can remove any monster from play, (though he cannot attack afterwards). However after he does attack, if there is still a monster on your foe’s side of the field he can destroy it. This effect is very useful if your opponent has tokens on his/her side of the field. And don’t  forget his stats, 3000 attack and 2500 defense points.

08. Raviel, Lord of Phantasms

The almighty, king of the Sacred Beasts is #7. This monster was not on many people’s list, but I had to put him on here. Not only is he the easiest-to-summon out of the other Sacred Beasts, he also has amazing stats, effects, and combos. Raviel, Lord of Phantasms has 4000 attack and 40o0 defense points. Plus you can sacrifice one monster per turn and feed its attack points to Raviel who gains attack points equal to the sacrificed monster. Whenever your foe normal summons a monster, you can play two Phantasms Tokens(1000 atk, 1000 def).  This is great combo with Panther Warrior; you keep sacrificing the tokens and Raviel keeps getting attack boosts and Panther Warrior gets to attack. You can read more about Raviel here.

07.The Wicked Avatar

The Wicked Avatar guaranteed a spot  this list due to his amazing effect. Once he is summoned, your foe cannot play spell and traps for two turns making them vulnerable toward your attacks. That’s not all of it, he also has 100 attack points plus the attack points of the strongest monster on the field. You can read more about him here. This is the best effect in Yugioh, second to the Yubels’s. To up Wicked Avatar’s effect, you can keep on playing super strong monsters and Wicked Avatar will be stronger than all of them.

Part 1 one of the list comes to a close. Stay tune more my next post, part 2.

    I think you skipped #8…

  2. David says:

where is part 2? of top ten strongest monsters in yugioh?

  3. Uh, it should be right after part 1.

  4. wawa says:

jestem gracz i kolekcjoner yu-gi-oh umów się na pojedynek w rzeszowie 5982712 gg ato kom 781401178

  5. Hierophant says:

Where is “Chaos Emperor Dragon- Envoy of the End”. His effect is very strong and with a little bit of strategy the duel will be hard to lose. And he can make a chain to the effect of the other envoy.

  6. Chris says:

Can you help me? I have a question about the use of the Nightmare Wheel card. When I have the Elemental Hero Neos and the Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab cards on my field, and my opponent uses the Nightmare Wheel card on my Flare Scarab, can I use Contact Fusion to summon the Elemental Hero Flare Neos card and does the Nightmare Wheel card get destroyed?

  7. Yes because Flare Neos is a whole different monster than the targeted Flare Scarab.

  8. Chris says:

When a monster card has this effect, “This card gains 400 ATK for each Spell and Trap card on the field,” does this include Field Spell Card?

  9. morfowt says:

    indeed it does.

  10. Chris says:

Is Elemental Hero Neos card an Elemental Hero or not?

  11. morfowt says:

it says elemental hero. it is an elemental hero…

  12. Chris says:

Does Non-Fusion Area card blocks out all fusion type mosters including Contact Fusions Cards?

  13. morfowt says:

don’t think it stops contact fusions since contact fusion is just special summon, not fusion summon.

  14. Chris says:

Can you use Elemental Hero Neos Alius card’s effect to contact fusion with Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin?

  15. morfowt says:

yes you can. you can even fuse it with rainbow dragon for rainbow neos.

  16. Chris says:

How many Elemental Hero Neos and Elemental Hero Neos Alius can you have altogether?

  17. morfowt says:

3 each of neos. 3 each of neos alius. that’s because neos alius is only treated as neos once it’s on the field and has been gemini summoned. while in the deck, it is neos alius.

  18. Chris says:

Do you have to have Neo Space Pathfinder on the field for the effect to activity?

  19. Sunshadow says:

Neo Space Pathfinder has a “discard” effect, and once you play the monster it’s effect is no longer able to be activated unless you use another effect to return it to your hand. It’s only considered discarding when you move it from your hand to the graveyard, otherwise it’s usually called “Sent” to the graveyard by battle or a card effect.

  20. Ace says:

How can you tell if a card is fake?

  21. Chris says:

Can someone explain how gemini monster work?

  22. nader says:

Geminis are treated like normal summoned cards. But the effect must be unlocked by performing an additional normal summon on them while face up. and you cant summon them from the deck or hand by abilities that support normal monsters.

  23. If it doesn’t have the little silver or golden sticker in the bottom right hand corner, it’s usually fake.

  24. Chris says:

If you have Elemental Hero Flare Neos on the field and then you normal summon Neo-Spacian Grand Mole can you fuse them with contact fusion for Elemental Hero Magma Neos?

  25. Nope, because you can only fuse monsters on the material list. Flare Neos isn’t on the Magma Neos material list so you can’t. You can though use Defusion on Flare Neos and then do contact fusion!

  26. morfowt says:

no you can’t actually. for de-fusion, you can only special summon the fusion material if they’re in the graveyard. to summon flare neos though, you return the fusion material back into the deck.

  27. chad says:

I so glad to know that i am not only a yugioh fan here. actually i like the cards queens double and the ancient machine giant. I created a powerful combination with spell card gift of the martyr. From this combination i create a best deck for me :)

  28. chad says:

wait.. where is the part 2?

  29. Interesting combo chad! As for the whereabouts of Part 2, it should be the following post. Here’s a link if you are still unable to find it.

  30. yugioh card collector says:

for the person who asked for chaos emperor dragon – envoy of the end, it may be on the top five, not here

  31. yugioh card collector says:

I have a question, are chrysalis monsters necessary in a neo-space deck, or should I remove them from my deck?

  32. Remove them, you’re deck’s going to be ridiculously big and unreliable if you have Chrysalis monsters and their support.

  33. Gonçalo says:

Just that?!what about the 3 egyptian gods and the blue/red eyes white/black dragon!???

  34. Goncalo

Those monsters don’t even have effects… they’re as good as useless in a duel.

  35. morfowt says:

actually, they do have effects, or at least obelisk and ra have been re-created with monster effects.

however, their effects are completely stupid and pointless and they would not even qualify for the top 100 strongest monsters in yu-gi-oh

  36. You’re right, I forgot about that… hey but their effects are actually really good! How are they pointless?

  37. nader says:

have you seen ra’s effect? its just trash

  38. morfowt says:

let’s take ra for example. it can’t be special summoned and you need to tribute 3 for it’s summon. that’s already a serious disadvantage. also, if you summon him, he either has 0 atk, or you give up all but 100 of your life points. if he has 0 atk, he’s a pushover. if you sacrifice all but 100 of your life points, a simple ookazi would finish you off. then add to the fact that it’s only immune to card effects the turn it’s summoned. plus you can’t even use its monster destruction effect unless you keep it at 0 atk because you need 1000 lp for it.
end result: either a high atk beatstick that’s nothing else or a no atk monster destroyer you can use up to 7 times, providing it lives that long. terrible either way.

the there’s obelisk. it’s a little better than ra since it has 4000 atk, but it’s still a 3 tribute monster no matter what. it’s still prone to spells and traps as long as they don’t target (so a black hole would kill it). it’s effect seems good except you can’t attack with it the turn you use it, not to mention losing 2 more of your monsters.
end result: a 4000 beatstick whose effect is really just getting rid of both your monsters and your opponent’s monsters.

maybe if they had better summoning requirements but needing 3 sacrifices just to summon them when their effects aren’t even that good? not happening.

  39. nader says:

obelisk is a little better than ra. lets hope slifer is going to be the best one if they make it. its funny cause ra was supposed to be the strongest one in the anime and then look at it now.

  40. Chris Harbour says:

This list is beginning to disappoint me

  41. nader says:

well this list is outdated so its not very reliable know. its like 1 year and 4 months old. but it doesn’t matter as the top 10 would be extremely different now compared to last year.

  42. @Chris
The list now would be completely different… although I’d still keep B.L.S.E.B on there as well as Yubel (maybe not number 1).

  43. dsignercarly says:

I didnt even know there was a wicked avatar. Guess i dont know much about the cards.

  44. It’s not a really popular card. Now if you didn’t know stuff like Blue Eyes White Dragon then… :P

  45. nader says:

yubel reminds me of ultimecia from final fantasy 8 but i don’t know why.

  46. Victor says:

    @Chris, not Chris Harbour

    Are you Chris Harbour?

  47. morfowt says:

I highly doubt it. It makes no sense to change your name

  48. yami says:

    Cool. I agree on these

  49. draon king says:

this site is awwwssssoooommmmeee how do i join?
