The winged dragon of ra's first effect is an all or nothing effect, pay all but 100 LP to increase RA's attack by the amount paid. The second effect: pay 1000LP will either be useless or will reduce RA's max attack by 1000 pts. Also, Obelisk is only 1/3 as vulnerable to effects as ra is because he cannot be targeted by spells or traps or effects.
