The new Yugioh booster pack, Storm of Ragnarok, was released four days ago. The Storm of Ragnarok features cards in the distorted timeline arc such as Stardust Shimmer, Zero Force, and the cover card of the pack; Odin, Father of the Aesir. The fierce ruler of Asgard has the ability to revive itself by removing a ‘Nordic Ascendant’ monster from play when destroyed. For the turn that it’s special summoned, Odin is unaffected by spell trap cards. Along with Odin, the other two (powerful) Nordic legends, Loki and Thor, are available in the pack as well!
The Storm of Ragnarok looks like an awesome booster pack, not only because of the release of the Nordic Gods, but of the loads of support it brings for new archetypes as well. The Legendary Samurai archetype gets a lot of support, as a semi-archetype known as the Legendary Six Samurai debut in this booster pack. Blackwings also get some good support and there as a powerful new addition to the Elemental Hero archetype as well (Elemental Hero Ice Edge)! Storm of Ragnarok will also be featured in the upcoming Yugioh video game, World Championships 2011: Over the Nexus.

I went to the launch yesterday. Got a Worm King and traded it for a Loki. I got some pretty neat stuff.

Yeah I don’t run worms I traded Worm King to someone else for a Loki. I got Majioshaleon which was pretty nice. I got some decent stuff.

I wish they added some LS support. My friend pulled an ultimate rare Six Samurai and traded it for a Judgment Dragon and Aurkus.(He runs LS)

The other great thing about going is the trades. I took my trade folder and ending up getting: Pollinosis(x2 form my plant deck), Tytannial, Princess of Camellias(Plant deck) Dewdark of the Ice Barrier(x2 Frog deck), some LS for my friend along with some other stuff. Came last in the tourney XD
anyone familiar with xing zhen hu replica? its similar to xing zhen hu (the original) but xing zhen hu replica prevents 1 set spell or trap from activating instead of 2 for xing zhen hu. but xing zhen hu replica also can’t be chained when it’s activated. honestly which is better? i prefer xing zhen hu replica.
xing zheng hu replica, definitely. it’s easier to use because only 1 face-down on your opponent’s side of the field is required, instead of 2 (easier requirements) and the fact that you can’t chain to it means your opponent can’t just activate xing zheng hu’s target.
xing zheng hu replica. GRRRR. lol, made me lose a round in the STOR tourney.
i noticed a difference in their artwork. xing zhen hu is darker and the box has dragon designs and xing zhen hu replica is lighter and has lizard designs on the box.
and xzh has a black pot while xzhr has a brown pot. i like xzhr, but honestly would you run it?
maybe. in a way, it’s better than destroying the face-down because that frees up the spell/trap zone allowing your opponent to play more cards.

In general, I prefer Xing Zhen Hu Replica because it’s not limited to two trap/spells, but when playing against my friends, I like the original since they use so much spell and traps.

spoilers for yugioh 5ds episode 151: Yusei will duel zone and will delta accel synchro summon shooting quasar dragon and zone will use his ultimate temporal machine god sephiron. sephiron sounds alot like sephiroth.
Hay I got a Storm of Ragnarok, with some sweet cards a Worm Idile,
some cool Ultimate Six Samori cards, and a decent Black Wing card too! I know a game that has Ragnarok as a great sword, don’t ask though! Ohh, and don’t get me started with Sephiroth!
I have good SC tyrano with the ability to inflict 1000 points of LP damage with a tribute! Cool Huh, also I know the ATK/DEF points of
Slyther, and Wind Dragon of Ra! Slyther: ATK/DEF=number of in player’s hand! Wind Dragon of Ra: ATK/DEF=number of tributed monsters! I’ve also found that, you can pay 1000 LP to destroy an opponent’s monster According to the comics! As for Slyther, If he attacks any monster on the field is a target, and each has its ATK/DEF cut by 2000, and if it reaches an ATK/DEF of 0, it is destroyed! As for Obelisk the Tormentor, well he’s immune to most spells and traps, but not all, one turn affect spells and traps affect him, like Monster Reborn! His ATK/DEF is 4000!

I’ve seen it already, it’s a really good movie and it felt great to be able to see Yugi and Jaden again! You should buy the DVD the moment it comes out. I think the movie cards are pretty good as well.

Yep, Malefic Truth Dragon is new. In the movie, it is downright broken but Konami toned down the real life card effect.
