I believe they are dubbing Zexal under another license. TV Tokyo is just one of several broadcasting companies in Japan.

Ok, could someone please fill me in? I thought 4Kids lost the rights to Yu-Gi-Oh, yet I see that in a few days they’re dubbing Zexal? Say What?

I saw the ep myself on CW’s Toonzai. The ep was where Team 5D’s first meet Ragnarok, and find out they’re back stories. This is like the 36-41 episode skip all over again.

Maybe it would be better if someone else did dub Yu-Gi-Oh!, because 4Kids skipped the episode where Jack gains Scar-Red Nova Dragon and the Team Taiyo duel, going straight to the Dragons vs Gods duel. I mean, stick to the program, no one is going to under stand how Jack got Scar-Red Nova Dragon when he plays it against Thor and later Team New World. I mean, am I right?

That is true, the Cartoon Network voices of Pokemon were much worse compared to the Channel 11 Pokemon voices.

Yeah this was kinda old, but good news nevertheless. 4Kids took out so much stuff from the yugioh episodes that it became not very exhilarating to watch. I don’t see anybody complaining.

While I admit that adding the violence back, if that is what Funanimation plans on doing when they start redubbing, I hope that they keep most of the voice actors the same. Case in point, for One Piece, I like the 4Kids voices of Luffy and Sanji over Funanimation’s because the voice adds to the character, 4Kids Sanji’s New Yorker-ish accent made him a heck of a lot tougher than Funanimation Sanji, who seem more of a normal person, and 4Kids Luffy’s voice made him funnier and more of an airhead than Funanimation’s Luffy. Course this is just me talking, but a character’s voices makes as much of the character as body and personality.
