Here is part three of the list:
5. Dark Armed Dragon
Dark Armed Dragon is equivalent to the Lebron James of Yugioh. It’s a great card, very powerful, over-hyped sometimes but a great addition to any deck. Dark Armed Dragon is just too easy play, especially in dark attribute decks (the most commonly used decks in Yugioh). All it takes to summon D.A.D. is to have three dark monsters in your graveyard, which is a simple task which can be made even easier with a Graceful Charity or a Card Destruction. D.A.D. has a pretty sweet effect as well: by removing one dark monster from your graveyard, it can destroy any card on the field. That’s not only a great effect for clearing the field for direct attacks, but you can also use D.A.D’s to get rid of your opponent’s suspicious and dangerous traps. D.A.D. seems like a killer, but it has a big weakness: remove all the dark monsters from your foe’s grave, and it’s mightily weakened. This can be easily done with a Soul Release; that’s why it should become the basis of any Anti-DAD deck.
4. Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the Beginning
Black Luster Soldier EOTB is obviously the powerhouse monster of Yugioh. It’s fairly easy to summon; all you have to do is remove a light and dark monster from your graveyard. It can destroy one monster per turn through it’s effect, opening up attacking space for other monsters. When Black Luster Soldier, EOTB destroys a monster, it can attack again. That’s a strong effect considering that it could then wipe out your opponent’s field of monsters. That effect allows EOTB and the rest if your platoon of monsters to attack your foe directly and deal some serious damage. Just like DAD however, you can easily prevent the summoning of EOTB with cards like Soul Release,
3. Gorz Emissary of Darkness
Gorz is probably the easiest to summon in this list. All your opponent has to do is deal damage to you; even a dealing a mere 50 life points would cause Gorz to be special summoned. Not only can Gorz, a strong monster with 2700 attack points, arrive to the duel, he would bring this mates token one and token two as well. If your foe inflicts battle damage to you, when Gorz is played you can also summon two tokens with attack and defense equal to the amount of damage taken. Gorz’s tokens are great as tributes, as offensive monsters, and even synchro material monsters for a synchro monster. You could tune a Alien Ammonite with a Gorz token to synchro summon Black Winged Dragon! If your opponent inflicts effect damage to you however, Gorz is still summoned but you deal the same amount of damage you took back to your opponent rather than special summoning tokens. Gorz is just a fantastic card and I’m glad that he is easily findable at your local stores!
2. Stardust Dragon
Dragons were only known to be the strongest type of monsters but until Tyrant Dragon and Decoy Dragon, I haven’t seen as good of a defensive dragon as Stardust. With 2500 attack points, it can kill you in offense, but with its effect, it can save your butt on the defensive side. If your opponent activates a spell, trap, or monster effect during a crucial moment for you in the duel, no worries. All you have to do is remove Stardust Dragon from play and boom, your foe’s card’s effect is negated and the card is destroyed! The best part is, Stardust Dragon comes back for more at the end of the turn. Unlike EOTB or DAD, it’s very difficult to destroy Stardust Dragon. It’s basically impossible to destroy it by a card effect, and it’s very tough to be beat it in battle. Stardust Dragon is also a synchro monster, making it fairly easy to play as well. This dragon is surely a God.
